Camp Ailihpomeh

The mission of Camp Ailihpomeh (Hemophilia spelled backwards) is to serve the needs of boys from age seven to seventeen with bleeding disorders, providing a camping experience for a group of children who have traditionally been excluded from participating in other summer camp programs. The experience of camping with other children in a natural outdoor setting strengthens the child’s ability to cope with the daily physical and emotional challenges of a disability and/or chronic illness.

TBDC is a joint effort between the Lone Star BDF and Texas Central Texas Central Bleeding Disorders, bringing over 800 people from all over the state of Texas together for a weekend of education, networking, and fun. Hemophilia Federation of America Symposium

The Hemophilia Federation of America (HFA) is heading to Indianapolis for their annual Symposium! Join them for this year’s conference from Thursday, April 11 to Sunday, April 14 at the JW Marriott Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.

They will have dozens of sessions for blood brothers, blood sisters, children, parents, caregivers and more, along with great opportunities to connect with the new and old friends from around the country. Wheels 4 the World

This event is part of Save One Life’s biggest fundraiser, Wheels for the World. The fundraiser began in honor of community member Barry Haarde, who rode his bike across the country six times to fundraise for Save One Life. Wheels for the World supports Save One Life’s programs, which give direct financial assistance to children with bleeding disorders in developing countries.
